The cozy kitchen always smells of butter, sugar, almond and cardamom.

Our pastries are still handmade using fresh ingredients, Shepherd's Grain Flour and a whole lot of butter. Our bakers have been trained using authentic recipes and methods from John Nielsen himself, passed down throughout the years.

Snitter: Our signature cinnamon roll dough rolled out flat with a strip of custard added

Apple Kringle Slice: Flaky danish dough filled with custard, almond paste and apples, topped with slivered almonds

Cinnamon Danish: Flaky danish dough filled with butter, sugar, almond paste, custard and cinnamon

Classic Danish: Choice of apricot preserves, raspberry preserves, custard or cream cheese

Fruit and Cream Cheese Danish: Classic danish with cream cheese filling and choice of raspberries, blackberries, blueberries or peaches on top

Bear Claw: Almond paste filling, slivered almonds on top

Poppyseed Danish: Almond paste filling, poppyseeds on top

Pecan Danish: Almond paste filling, pecans on top

Frosnapper: Almond paste filling, caramelized sugar twist with poppyseeds and sesame seeds

Whole Wheat Savory Pastries: Ham & Provolone, BOB (brie, onion, bacon), Spinach & Feta, Roasted Poblano & Cream Cheese

Whole Kringle: Large pretzel shaped danish filled with almond paste, custard and raisins, topped with slivered almonds (feeds 6-10, $18)

Sweet Breads: Cardamom braid topped with crunchy cardamom sugar or fruit loaf with raisins baked inside ($6)

Russian Tea Cakes: Butter cookie with walnuts dusted with powdered sugar

Shortbread: Finnish (almonds and sugar on top), chocolate or candied ginger

Potato: Puff pastry filled with whipped cream and custard, covered in a thin layer of marzipan and rolled in cocoa powder

Sarah Bernhardt: Almond macaron topped with chocolate mousse and dipped in chocolate

Napolean Hat: Sugar cookie filled with almond paste and then dipped in chocolate

Almond Crescent: Almond paste cookie rolled in almonds and dipped in chocolate

Tosca: Sugar cookie crust topped with almond paste, raspberry jam and candied slivered almonds, dipped in chocolate
